I have a lot of nicknames, but I mostly go by Mossy. I am fine being called Allison, Mossy, Alli, and I am always open to hear new nicknames! I live in the town of pizza as I like to call my hometown, Minooka. Ou town is pretty small in the state of Illinois, but if you are ever hungry for pizza, this is the place to go! I graduated at Minooka Community High School in 2010 and now I am just a working girl, until we return in May. I attened a local junior college for a year, but am taking the year off to keep focused on the trip.

I am interested in ministry most definitely and teaching and or counseling as well, so I know I have options for now. I work at McDonalds currently, and I just recently worked with a summer camp here and also babysat some of my kids from camp as well, I am trying my hardest to raise and save money as best as I can. I live with a leader from church, so I pay all my bills and for my car, rent, ect. I have been out of my parents house since I graduated two school years ago, and it has been a rough time, but good.

I am currently trying to teach myself guitar, it is going okay, it has always been something I have wanted to learn and I love music with a passion so it soothes me. I also love to read and write whenever I have free time.

I am super pumped for this missions trip and cannot wait to leave! I have done one other overseas missions through my church, and I have done a lot of local missions as well. My sophmore year of high school I went to St. Lucia with my church and a team of 33 people to do ministry down there and do a daycamp we call spykidz at our church! Spykidz is a killer awesome week for kids age k-5th at our church that our head pastor started eleven years ago! When people ask what it is all about, alsmot anyone from our church would say it is vacational bible school on speed, we have made it our very own and it is my favorite part of the year! I also do a lot of other children's ministry in my church. I the leader of our children's drama team for their "sunday school," you might call it, called grozone. Also, I am a Jr.high leader for our jr. high. youth group called I.C.E. I love serving and I love being around kids, it makes me happy that I can glorify the Lord, and impact people as they impact me along the way as well. I have been coming to Minooka Bible Church since the 6th grade, and I would definitely say it is my home away from home.

I love having fellowship with the people here and coming here to praise our God together! A lot of the people in the church have helped me become who I am today, and have helped me through all the struggles in my life, and I know that God speaks through people and put every single person in my life for awesome reason I may never even understand!  with their support and many of my friends support, I am looking forward to this trip! I am excited to meet all of my team, and leaders, and I am super excited to show God's love to people overseas who may not get to hear what I hear almost everyday! I want to show them the difference, so that they may want to be the difference too! I want to plant some seeds, and form some awesome relationships! God speed, I am stoked!
