Pick-pocketing – In public places wear purses and shoulder bags across the chest, keep a hand on your wallet, and keep an eye on teammates’ backpacks

Cultural Norms

Personal Space & Touching- In the Latin American culture personal space is not considered in the same way it is here in the States. Your personal space is significantly smaller than what you are used to in the Western culture. Touching is also very common when talking to someone, as well, as being greeted with a hug or kiss.
